Registrant Terms and Conditions 2023



As a registrant for the National Collaboration In Aging Event, I agree that I am solely responsible for any injury, illness, disability, or death that I incur, or that others’ incur, to the extent arising out of my contracting a communicable disease, including COVID-19, RSV and Influenza. I agree I will not hold National Collaboration In Aging or any of its employees, agents, representatives, or volunteers responsible for any injury, loss, damage, claim, cost, liability, or expense of any kind. I also acknowledge and agree that National Collaboration In Aging event reserves the right to change its Event health and safety policies and requirements at any time, and by registering, agree that my satisfaction of any updated requirements (including, without limitation, proof of vaccination and/or a negative test) shall be a condition to my attendance.

Badge

I understand that my badge is non-transferable, and I agree to not give my badge to others to access the conference space. I acknowledge that if my conference badge is being used by another person that my registration runs the risk of being forfeited. 

Cancellations & Replacements 

  • Cancellations must be submitted online via the event registration site or by email to info@collaborationinaging.com
  • Cancellations received by Wednesday August 30, 2023, will be assessed a $295 administrative fee. 
  • After August 30, 2023, no refunds will be granted
  • In the event of a registration cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the Collaboration In Aging group rate may run the risk of also being cancelled. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates.
  • If you are no longer able to attend the National Collaboration In Aging Event and your company would like to replace your registration with another colleague, a $295 administrative fee may be assessed.  The original registration will be cancelled, and your company will be provided a code (if applicable) to honor the rate of the original registrant.


Photography & Videography Liability Waiver

National Collaboration In Aging intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in print and digital media (e.g. advertisements, emails, social media, website) to promote National Collaboration In Aging. By participating in the event, I grant National Collaboration In Aging the right to use any image, photograph, voice, or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation.  All media becomes the property of National Collaboration In Aging.  Media may be displayed, distributed, or used by National Collaboration In Aging for any purpose.


Miscellaneous

Notices. All notices, authorizations, and requests in connection with this Conference shall be deemed given on the day they are received by Organizer. 

Relationship. This Agreement does not constitute and shall not be construed as constituting a partnership, or joint venture relationship between or among the parties. 

Confidentiality. Each party expressly undertakes to retain in confidence all information and know-how transmitted to it by the other party that the disclosing party has designated as proprietary and/or confidential or that, by the nature of the circumstances surrounding the disclosure, ought in good faith to be treated as proprietary and/or confidential and will make no use of such information and know-how except under the terms, for the purposes of and during the existence of this Agreement. Each party's obligation under this Agreement with respect to any information shall extend to the earlier of such time as such information is publicly available through no fault of the receiving party or five (5) years following termination of the Agreement.

Severability; Binding Effect; Governing Law. Each provision hereof shall be valid and shall be enforceable to the extent not prohibited by law. If any provision hereof or the Agreement thereof to any Person or circumstance shall to any extent be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions hereof, or the application of such provision to Persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is invalid or unenforceable, shall not be affected thereby. All provisions contained in this Agreement shall be binding upon, inure to the benefit of and be enforceable by the successors and assigns of each party hereto, including, without limitation, any United States trustee, any debtor-in-possession, or any trustee appointed from a private panel, in each case to the same extent as if each successor and assign were named as a party hereto. This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed with, the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any state’s conflict of laws principles.
